Is it possible to come together in united prayer and be heard but not seen? Hear from a woman whose ministry does exactly that. Fern Nichols explains their primary purpose is to come to the Heavenly Father in prayer. Fern Nichols, international speaker, author, mother and grandmother, is President and Founder of Moms in Prayer International (formerly Moms In Touch International), which teaches, equips, mobilizes and encourages women to pray for children and schools. God has grown this ministry from one group praying in 1984 to groups of women praying in every state in the USA and in more than 140 countries. Fern teaches women to replace their fears and anxiety with God's joy and peace by praying through the Four Steps of Prayer: praising God for who He is; silently confessing sins to the God who forgives; thanking God in all things, and interceding for others by praying scripturally and specifically for them. She is the author / co-author of When Moms Pray Together: True Stories of God's Power to Transform Your Child; Igniting a Passion to Pray, a six-week Bible study that cultivates a more intimate, loving relationship with God as women become confident pray-ers; the Silver Medallion winner Every Child Needs a Praying Mom; Prayers From a Mom's Heart, and the key ministry resource, the Booklet, which explains the Four Steps of Prayer and how to start and lead a group. Fern lives in Poway, CA, with her husband Role. They have four married children and eight grandchildren.
