In this week's episode of Defending Faith, Family, and Freedom with Gary Bauer, senior vice president of public policy at the James Dobson Family Institute, Bauer breaks down President Joe Biden's bizarre and dystopian State of the Union address. Perhaps most concerning to Americans was what the President chose not to address in his speech, such as recent vicious attacks on religious liberty. Instead, Biden focused his firepower at the Supreme Court for their ruling on Roe v. Wade in the Dobbs case. The court found that there was no right to abortion in the Constitution and sent the issue back to the states to decide. Biden then took aim at Republicans, accusing them of banning books. "Banning books is wrong," he yelled! Of course, no one on the right is suggesting we ban books. Rather, parents are exercising their God-given authority to demand that their children not be intentionally exposed to sexually explicit materials at school. Banning books would require that they are not available for purchase. This is not happening, but the President does not care. Of course Biden was not through. Next, Biden screamed: "Pass the Equality Act!" Nice sounding name, but this so-called Equality Act seeks to abolish, by federal law, biological sex. God forbid this President is reelected and could pass such an abomination into law.
