Prior to joining Financial Designs, Ltd., Mr. Ramstead was a wealth manger with Bernstein Global Wealth Management. Before that he was an executive with a Fortune 500 company. Prior to that he helped to successfully start and sell two different businesses. Mr. Ramstead's early career was as a U.S. Navy F-14 pilot and flew combat sorties in Desert Storm and was an instructor at the Navy Strike Fighter Weapons School at the Miramar Naval Air Station in San Diego, CA. Mr. Ramstead is a Minnesota native and graduated high school from St. Thomas Academy. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a full Navy ROTC scholarship. John and his wife Donna live in Denver with their three boys. He enjoys time with his family, coaching, travel, reading and any outdoor activity. He is active in the community and serves on the board of the Colorado Make A Wish Foundation, Colorado Faith and Freedom Coalition and the Colorado Rough Riders.
